Introduction
The Multimedia Major is tailored for students who are interested in a degree that combines multiple areas of the Media Arts. The specific Multimedia tracks are designed to offer students an array of courses that will best prepare them for specific pursuits, such as social media marketer, photo/video journalism, broadcast journalist, or game designer. Students who are skillful in media convergence are poised to meet the demands of the 21st century media landscape.
Students are required to declare the specific Multimedia Track that they wish to pursue when they declare their Multimedia major.

Program Details
Program Length
Four years for a complete BA degree. Two years for students transferring in with an AAOT degree. Program length may vary depending upon the student’s course load and academic progress.
Program Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:
- Communicate clearly and with expansive and critical thinking, visually, verbally and in writing, using techniques appropriate for the intended audience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of discipline-specific skills and vocabulary.
- Demonstrate that an understanding of the ethical, legal, and social impacts of various modes of media delivery and consumption in a wider societal and global context, informs one’s own role in media content creation.
- Participate as a team member to make collaborative decisions toward shared objectives with civility and interpersonal skills.
