Introduction
The minor in Arts Administration and Advocacy is designed to provide students in the fine, creative, and performing arts with an understanding of current practices in management, funding, budgeting, mission fulfillment, and public relations for artists and arts organizations, as well as tools to advocate for the value of the arts. This minor prepares students to contribute to their communities through advocacy, administration, and management of arts organizations and through their own professional artistic practice.

Minor Requirements: 22 Credits

Program Learning Outcomes
Students who complete this minor will be prepared to work as administrators, managers, marketers, production staff, and development personnel in both commercial and non-profit companies, and to pursue personally and economically sustainable careers in the arts, ultimately creating opportunities for others as well.
