The minor in Applied Physics is designed for students interested in employment in the hi-tech industry or in engineering; interested students should consult with a faculty member in the Department of Physics. This minor can be used toward completion of the Applied Science major.

Demonstrate conceptual understanding of fundamental physics principles
Communicate physics reasoning in oral and in written form
Solve physics problems using qualitative and quantitative reasoning including sophisticated mathematical techniques
