The film and video major at Pacific is experiential, exciting and rewarding. Students learn by engaging in hands-on, collaborative production; critical thinking and analysis; and exploring the history of the medium. Students develop their unique storytelling voice by being exposed to different modes of filmmaking including documentary, narrative, experimental, and animated films. Other skills-based classes include screenwriting, cinematography, and post-production. Internship credits in an approved film/video internship can count towards fulfilling the degree requirements for the major.
