Kinesiology

The Kinesiology Department houses three degrees—BS in Kinesiology, BA in Outdoor Leadership, and BA in Sport Leadership & Management. These degrees center on human movement, with concentrations in different areas. The Kinesiology major focuses on knowledge related to human movement, and can lead to entry into a variety of graduate schools or careers. The Outdoor Leadership major prepares students for a career in recreation and/ outdoor adventure fields. The Sport Leadership & Management major provides for access into the business of sport and recreation. The Kinesiology Department provides for a multi-disciplinary education, focusing on how humans move in different settings.
