VSC 313 - Vision Therapy 2 credit(s) This course offers a detailed review of comprehensive and appropriate treatment options for patients with visual and ocular disorders such as loss of visual acuity and visual field, problems in accommodation and vergence control, and dysfunctions associated with stroke and brain injuries. This course describes tools, skills, and procedures required to achieve effective vision therapy, including the use of lenses, prisms, filters, occlusion, specialized instruments, and/or computer programs. Students will learn remediating methods for regaining visual, ocular and perceptual functions.
