ANTH 310 - Doing Ethnography

This course involves the study and practice of the complex craft of ethnography. Students will read, analyze, and critique ethnographies in conjunction with the critical review and analysis of influential social, literary, and ethnographic theories. The production of an ethnography, involving primary field research, a literature review, and social/cultural analysis is a crucial component of the course.
