MKT 318 - Intl Marketing: Intl Travel

Second course of a two-course sequence that replaces MKT 316 (International Marketing). This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of international brand expansion, covering diverse consumer behaviors, market entry strategies, and cross-cultural marketing communication. Students will examine similarities and differences in marketing functions (such as marketing research, advertising, production, and distribution) related to cultural, economic, political, social, and physical dimensions in different countries. They will learn effective brand management, addressing ethical considerations in international marketing. Through a blend of interactive group discussions, guest lectures and exclusive industry visits, students will gain real-world perspective on international marketing practices and explore the diverse marketplaces in an immersive and experiential manner.
Prerequisite(s): MKT 317  with a minimum C- grade.
