MKT 317 - International Marketing Travel Prep 2 credit(s) The first of a two-course sequence that replaces MKT 316 (International Marketing). This course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of international brand expansion, covering diverse consumer behaviors, market entry strategies, and cross-cultural marketing communication. Students will examine similarities and differences in marketing functions (such as marketing research, advertising, production, and distribution) related to cultural, economic, political, social, and physical dimensions in different countries. They will learn effective brand management, addressing ethical considerations in international marketing. Prerequisite(s): MKT 301 with a minimum C- grade.
