PHIL 373 - Adv World Phil and Religion 2 credit(s) On successful completion of this course, students will be able engage thoughtfully and creatively across a variety of theories of religion in relation to primary religious phenomena in Nepal or in an alternative destination, including thinking through the philosophical significance of moving from the primary tenants of key philosophical and religious traditions to the manifestation of these tenants in ritual, art, architecture, or local custom. This course is required in order to enroll in the January travel course to Nepal or elsewhere, but can also be taken as a standalone course. Offered: Fall, alternate years
Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or above (30 or more completed credits)
