This course provides hands-on training of anterior segment optometric laser, sutureless and sutural surgical techniques including injections. Topics include surgical-based anatomy/physiology, contraindications, risks, and benefits. Managing systemic and ocular complications that may be asociated with optometric laser, injections and surgical techniques,including anesthesia and acute and long-term postoperative care. Laboratory live and simulation-based training using various surgical models, with objective structured assesment of technical skills.
