DS 361 - Disability and Performance 4 credit(s) Will examine the cultural construction of disability through a lens of performance. Through reading, writing, discussion, and research, students will investigate issues pertaining to performers with disabilities (including casting, training, and representation); performance as activism; the performance of disability in everyday life; and the intersections of performance, disability, class, sexuality, and gender.
