Introduces more advanced techniques for navigating hazards and the prevention of accidents in a whitewater environment. Classroom and field-based settings will provide experiential learning opportunities with an emphasis on scenario-based learning. Additionally, students will practice various instructional and teaching techniques specific to whitewater paddlingand have theopportunity to obtain Swift Water Rescue certificate.Participant fee fortransportation, campsites, permits, equipmentand food.Drops or withdraws from the class will be responsible for accrued expenses.
