EDUC 612 - Teaching & Inquiry I: Fundamentals 1 credit(s) Introduces teacher candidates to the inquiry process as fundamental to teacher and student learning. Introduce students to the concepts of qualitative, quantitative, and teacher action research. In this course teacher candidates explore their relationships and experiences with schools, others, teaching pedagogy, and research. Central to these explorations is an inquiry into the self and context through course activities, critical readings, and data collection and analysis. Teacher candidates begin to explore the relationship between the teaching cycle and teacher inquiry. Prerequisite(s): Admission to College of Education.
