DPT 632 - Musculoskeletal Exam/Int for Spine 4 credit(s) Lecture and lab course covering etiology, pathology, examination, and intervention related to conditions of the temporomandibular joint, cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, and pelvic region of the body. Examination schema are presented in a regional approach and include relevant procedures to screen for medical disease. Intervention techniques include passive movement (ie, mobilization/non-thrust and manipulation/thrust techniques), neurodynamic techniques, therapeutic exercise, and other clinical techniques. Physical therapy intervention is directed at resolution of specific impairments and activity limitations/participation restrictions, but also addresses contributing factors and prophylaxis Course Offering: Fall, annually
