DSCI 485 - Senior Seminar 2 credit(s) Data Science is one of the most in-demand career paths for skilled professionals. It is a rapidly evolving field. Today, successful data scientists not only need traditional skills, like programming and analyzing large amounts of data, but also must acquire novel skills that cover the full spectrum of the data science life cycle stages. This course will cover the theory of the data science project lifecycle. Topics covered include data acquisition, processing, modeling, analysis, and reporting. The course will also include career planning, portfolio building, and graduate school preparation. Prerequisite(s): Senior standing (90 or more completed credits), declared Data Science major, and one 400-level DSCI course with a minimum grade of C
