MEDA 331 - Sundance Film Festival Travel 2 credit(s) Students attend the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT where they will attend film screenings, filmmaker presentations and panels, and other special events. Sundance showcases both foreign and domestically produced films. Students will deepen their understanding of the role independent cinema has in supporting voices that have traditionally been marginalized by the mainstream film industry. Students engage with the business side of film-making, including marketing and promotion, distribution opportunities, and audience engagement. Core Requirement(s): Counts toward core requirement: International Perspectives. Prerequisite(s): MEDA 120 or MEDA 220 .
