BA 102 - Fundamentals of Business 4 credit(s) Designed as an introduction to the field of business and management, this course exposes students to a variety of organizations including profit and not-for-profit. This foundational course provides students with an introduction to key functional areas of business including accounting, finance, operations and human resource management. Using a series of mini-cases and a dynamic simulation students will oversee managing a business and experience the challenges, risks and rewards of making good decisions. This course offers students a view of the complex and ever-changing environment of business while providing a valuable foundation for business and non-business students alike.
