This course is the first semester of a two-semester course that covers the etiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management (including pharmaceutical) of the major disorders and diseases affecting the body. The course will include discussions on inflammatory disorders, endocrine disorders, renal disease, rheumatologic disorders, oncology, hematology, cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disorders, neurologic disorders, headaches, psychiatric disorders, GI and liver disorders, and infectious diseases.
