DHS 322 - Dental Hygiene Clinic II

Formatted by guided clinic sessions for students to implement the dental hygiene process of care for healthy patients and patients with gingivitis and/or slight periodontitis. The course also includes the principles of instrument sharpening, adjunct clinical procedures (chemotherapeutics, sealants, removable appliance care, intraoral photos), quality assurance measures, and supervised off-site clinical patient care fieldwork.
