Introduction
Earning a bachelor of arts (BA) in sport leadership & management at Pacific University will challenge you to explore the dynamic world of sport and recreation from a multi-disciplinary lens. You will gain a foundation of knowledge and skills necessary to make ethical, data-driven, financial, and legal decisions to lead successful sport programs and organizations, while being given the opportunity to specialize in coursework and experiences that will result in a unique preparation for your dream job.

Program Learning Outcomes
By completing a minor in Sport Leadership & Management, students will be able to: -
Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of theories and skills for effective leadership and professional success -
Apply critical thinking and reasoning skills to improve sporting/recreational opportunities and enhance competence for diverse populations -
Examine and analyze ethical and moral issues related to the leadership and management of sport and recreational environments -
Demonstrate effective communication, orally and in writing, with lay and professional audiences -
Demonstrate appropriate levels of independence, judgment, and professionalism in management and leadership environments |
