Single-subject area endorsements may be added to current Special Education Teaching Licenses by completing a combination of coursework and supervised practica. Endorsements may be added in the following subject areas: Art, Business, Drama, World Language (French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish), Health, Language Arts (Foundational and Advanced), Marketing, Mathematics (Foundational and Advanced), Music, Physical Education, Science (Foundational Science, Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science, and Physics), and Social Studies (Foundational and Advanced).

Candidates must submit a passing score for the subject area test(s) required by TSPC appropriate to the endorsement area.

Candidates may not register for the practicum requirement until testing and coursework requirements are fulfilled.
