Introduction
The Graphic Design Minor is a great compliment to any major and allows students the opportunity to develop skills that allow students to design publications, create information graphics, web designs, logos and other marketing materials.
Minor Requirements: 22 Credits
All of the Following: 12 credits
Electives: 10 credits
8 credits must be upper-division

Program Learning Outcomes
- Create effective print and digital communications, and user experiences through the application of theories, tools, and best practices in the field.
- Exhibit a thoughtful application of the elements and principles of visual design, color theory, information hierarchy, and typography to successfully communicate narratives, concepts, emotions, and/or identities across a variety of media.
- Communicate clearly in visual, verbal, and written forms using techniques appropriate to the intended audience.
- Explain how design enhances viewer comprehension in extracting meaning from designed elements.
