German, Minor

Introduction

Learn the language and culture of Germany, the largest economy in Europe. The German program pairs the classroom immersion experience with cultural experiences on campus. Students engage with German language speakers using state-of-the-art technology in the Center for Languages and International Collaboration. Students who minor in German are encouraged (but not required) to study abroad for one semester in Germany or Austria, or to participate in short-term travel courses to Germany.

GER 101 - Intro to German Language & Culture 4 credit(s)
GER 102 - Intro to German Language & Culture 4 credit(s)
GER 201 - Intermediate German 4 credit(s)
GER 202 - Intermediate German 4 credit(s)
Upper-division work in German at Pacific or in a German-speaking country 8 credits (4 credits may come from 2-credit conversation or short-term study abroad classes in a German-speaking country at 300-level or above)
