Clinical Psychology, MA


The MA in Clinical Psychology and PsyD degrees typically can be completed in five years of full-time study [four years in residence devoted to coursework, research, and practicum, and one year away on doctoral internship.] The MA degree is not designed as a terminal degree, but earned along the way to the PsyD degree. Students entering with a Master’s degree may transfer some coursework, but this will not decrease the 5-year full-time requirement.

Degree Requirements: 47 Credits


Students must be enrolled in the PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology and must meet all prerequisite course requirements that were in effect at the time of initial enrollment. The MA is earned while studying for the PsyD degree and is not designed as a stand-alone program. All requirements must be completed within three (3) years of matriculation.
