Given the demands of healthcare, marketplace changes, the complexity of the profession, and increasing challenges facing healthcare leaders, the School of Healthcare Administration and Leadership (HAL) provides academic programming that supports the individual professional growth needed to develop highly trained healthcare leaders.
The School was created in spring 2013 to incorporate the following professional programs already in existence within the College of Health Professions:
- Master of Healthcare Administration
- Graduate Certificate in Gerontology
- Bachelor of Health Science in Healthcare Management
In 2017, the PhD in Education and Leadership was started.
