Focuses on the basic principles of play therapy practice including history, theory, and clinical application of expressive arts counseling with children, adolescents, and family systems. The major theories of play therapy integration for mental health will be utilized for understanding assessment and clinical applications of play therapy. Students will have the opportunity to work collaboratively for hands-on experiential learning.
