SLAM 363 - Adaptive & Inclusive Recreation 2 credit(s) Will provide students with an awareness and sensitivity to the needs of persons living with disabilities when designing, implementing,and assessing recreational programs. Utilizing a social model of disability, students will be provided with strategies for not only designing more inclusive recreational programs, but adapting existing programs and equipment to allow for and encourage participation for individuals living with disabilities. Prerequisite SLAM 362 or KINES 330 with minimum grade C. Offered: Offered in Fall
