PHRM 751 - Creating Professional Leaders 1 credit(s) This elective course provides students with an opportunity to further develop their knowledge and skill set regarding leadership. The concepts covered will include, but not be limited to: what is leadership, are leaders born or made, scientific analysis of leadership, importance of volunteer leadership, networking, and differences between leadership and management. The course is taught in a seminar/discussion format and will feature a variety of guest speakers. Discussion and interactive activities will be based on readings, assignments, experiences, and projects. The basic structure of the course will be a one hour course introduction meeting, followed by 5 three hour gatherings scattered throughout the semester. This course is part of the Master of Healthcare Administration dual degree program and Pharmacy Leadership and Practice Management Track. Pass/No Pass.
