HSC 445 - Healthcare Management & Governance 3 credit(s) This course provides an overview of the effective management strategies that are used by healthcare administrators in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Students will examine the organizational and board governance structures of the various components of the healthcare delivery system including administrative processes such as planning, decision making, evidence-based practice, productivity processes, and continuous quality improvement. Prerequisite(s): Admission to BHS program.
