BIOL 404 - Ecology 4 credit(s) A study of the relationships between organisms and their environment. Major topics include population dynamics, species interactions, community structure/function, and ecosystem ecology. This course introduces quantitative tools used by ecologists, and explores many applications of ecological principles to conservation and society. Weekend field trips usually part of the course. Includes a laboratory experience. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 314 , and BIOL 315 or BIOL 317 .
