BIOL 307 - Cancer Biology 4 credit(s) An overview of the field of cancer biology with emphasis in the cellular and molecular mechanisms of tumor progression. Topic discussed include environmental carcinogens, current treatments and therapies, disease frequencies and epidemiology, drug discovery and design, and cancer prevention. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 200 and BIOL 201 with a minimum grade of C-, CHEM 220 , and CHEM 230 (may be taken concurrently).
