CHEM 220 - General Chemistry I 4 credit(s) The first of a two semester sequence which introduces the basic concepts of chemistry by addressing: atomic and molecular structure, chemical and physical properties of materials, nomenclature, chemical reactions, stoichiometry, gas laws, and thermochemistry.
