PSY 224 - Comparative Behavior

Prepares student researchers in basic principles of comparative psychology, classical and contemporary behavioral theory, and empirical principles and protocols of behavioral observation, methodology, and analysis. Students will learn how to generate meaningful, empirical questions in the understanding of social behavior of nonhuman animals in the field and captivity. This course is required for students who intend to conduct comparative psychological research in the summer.
Prerequisite(s): PSY 150  with a minimum grade of C.
