HIST 208 - England From Rome to Revolution 4 credit(s) This course covers the history and culture of England from the Roman period through the Glorious Revolution of 1688. Equal attention is given to political and social/cultural aspects of English history. Through reading of primary sources, discussions and lecture, the course deals with the distinctiveness of England, as well as placing the nation within a broad European historical context.
