ANTH 313 - Religion & Culture 4 credit(s) An anthropological and sociological analysis of religious practice, including belief, ritual, experience, organization, and knowledge. Using interpretive strategies from anthropology, sociology, and religious studies this course investigates the origins and development of religious practice as unique social contexts and their relation to other forms of social life. Core Requirement(s): Counts toward core requirement: Social Systems and Human Behavior. Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing or above.
