ANTH 205 - Travel Samoa: Well-being & Culture 2 credit(s) This 2-week travel course immerses students in the culture of Samoa. Students can explore Samoa through ethnographic research on a variety of topics including, but not limited to, health, gender/sexuality, education, dance, sport, youth issues, music, religion, food, migration, globalization, or (eco)tourism. Students will conduct semi-independent research projects. Several excursions will complement students’ research. Students will demonstrate general knowledge about Samoa and the region. Offered: Offered alternate years.
Core Requirement(s): Counts toward core requirements: International Perspectives and Social Systems and Human Behavior. Corequisite(s): ANTH 204.
