CS 170 - Introduction to Programming: Python 4 credit(s) A first course in computer programming fundamentals: no previous programming experience is required. This course will be taught in Python and include programming projects in a variety of areas. Course content includes data types, selection structures, repetition structures, functions, lists, dictionaries, tuples, and I/O. In addition to three lectures per week, the class meets weekly for a laboratory session. Offered: Fall, annually
Core Requirement(s): Quantitative Reasoning Prerequisite(s): MATH 125 or higher with a minimum C grade (may be taken concurrently) or MATH III placement or higher.
