POLS 180 - The United States in World Affairs

A first course in international relations, focused on current problems and concerns in United States foreign policy. These include both “off-shore” issues such as human rights and peace-keeping and “intermestic” issues such as trade and immigration. The course will begin with an overview of American foreign policy traditions and attitudes and of the 20th century background.
