Why are conspiracy theories so prevalent in the world today? This course examines the psychological, political, and cultural forces behind the conviction that a group of nefarious individuals are plotting to undermine the nation. We will analyze cases involving witches, anti-semitism, the JFK assassination, the illuminati, and Qanon.
