DANC 329 - Building Community Through Dance

Dance is an art form that has brought communities together to celebrate, connect, educate, advocate, and heal. Students will gain an understanding of the value of building community through their participation in an outreach program by connecting directly with surrounding community partners. In this course, students will create a project that further develops their creative process skills while connecting and supporting our communities. The type of outreach will vary year to year based on the event or workshops, and the community interest. May be repeated for credit.
Prerequisite(s): Any DANC 200/300 level technique course, DANC 200 is also recommended
