DPT 522 - Rehab Neuroscience II & Motor Control 3 credit(s) Continuation of DPT 520, Rehabilitation Neuroscience I. Structure and physiological function of the nervous system are correlated with normal and abnormal processes. Topics include: pain neuroscience, peripheral and spinal region lesions, vestibular and visual systems, cerebellum, basal ganglia, and consequences of neural injury. Concepts of motor control theory and lifespan motor development will be introduced. Active learning, as described in DPT 520, continues in this course. Course Offering: Spring, annually
