CS 315 - Intro to Human Computer Interaction 4 credit(s) Humans interact with computers through user interfaces; designing useful and effective interfaces involves many challenges for both designers and programmers. This course will cover the basics of the field of human computer interaction including the human factors of interactive software, methods to develop and assess interfaces, interaction styles and design considerations. The class will include research and design projects as well as a programming project. Offered: Offered alternate years.
Core Requirement(s): Counts toward core requirement: Quantitative Reasoning. Prerequisite(s): CS 250 or MEDA 265 with a minimum grade of C.
